“Exciting News: I’ve Been Elected President of the London Centre NDP!
This past Tuesday, I was officially elected President of the London Centre NDP federal riding association. It’s an honour, and a responsibility I take seriously.
Let’s be honest: our results in the recent federal election weren’t where we wanted them to be. The NDP’s goal isn’t just survival—it’s forming government and shaping a future that works for all Canadians. That means rebuilding, strengthening, and preparing our Party for the challenges ahead.
We’re entering a period of transformational change. This requires new voices, meaningful connection with local and national progressive activists, and most importantly, a renewed focus on working Canadians—whether they work in an office, a stockroom, or on a construction site.
As a systems-focused New Democrat, I see both the structural and foundational opportunities within our Party. My goal is to help build an NDP that is equitable, forward-looking, adaptable, and welcoming—one that invites people in rather than gatekeepers, and encourages constructive action over finger-wagging.
But this isn’t something I can do alone. I need your voice, your energy, and your perspective. If you live in the London Centre riding – within the bounds of Highbury, Fanshawe Park, Commissioners and Wonderland – there’s a place for you here. Whether you want to serve on the Executive, guide our local NDP, or simply help out when you can, your involvement matters.
Together, we are stronger than the sum of our parts. Together, we WILL shape the future of Canada. Join us.”
