Your financial contribution helps to build a strong NDP. With your support, the London Centre (formerly London North Centre) NDP Riding Association and the federal NDP can stand up for the issues that matter to you and our community.
NOTE: London Centre (formerly London North Centre) NDP Riding Association and Federal Donations benefit from tax-credits.
When you submit your annual tax return, you receive Federal tax credits for these donations.
Remember, because of generous tax credits, donating is easy and affordable. For example, for donations in TOTAL to all the registered associations, nomination contestants and candidates of each registered party, and the Federal NDP:
The credit rate for 2025 is:
- $0.01 to $400: 75%
- $400.01 to $750: 50% [$300 plus 50 percent of the amount by which the contribution exceeds $400]
- $750.01 and over:
- $475 plus 33 1/3 percent of the amount by which the total exceeds $750; and
- up to $808 credit

Option 2 – Federal – Canada’s NDP
Remember, because of generous tax credits, donating is easy and affordable. For example, for donations to the Federal NDP:
- If you give $400 in a given year, you get back $300 at tax time.
- If you give $750, you get back $475.
- If you give the maximum $1,750, you get back $808
Limits on Contributions, Loans and Loan Guarantees

Notes:
- Only individuals who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents can make contributions.
- The contribution limits apply to total contributions, the unpaid balance of loans made during the contribution period, and the amount of any loan guarantees made during the contribution period that an individual is still liable for. The sum of these three amounts cannot at any time exceed the contribution limit.
- A nomination contestant is permitted to give an additional $1,000 in total per contest in contributions, loans and loan guarantees to their own campaign.
- A candidate is permitted to give a total of $5,000 in contributions, loans and loan guarantees to their campaign. A candidate is also permitted to give an additional $1,750* in total per year in contributions, loans and loan guarantees to other candidates, registered associations and nomination contestants of each party. (This includes contributions to the registered association in the candidate’s electoral district and contributions to the candidate’s own nomination campaign.)
- A leadership contestant is permitted to give a total of $25,000 in contributions, loans and loan guarantees to their campaign. A leadership contestant is also permitted to give an additional $1,750* in total per year in contributions, loans and loan guarantees to other leadership contestants.
* The limits increase by $25 on January 1st in each subsequent year.
